A Truthful Commercial for Chicken McNuggets

Chicken McNuggets Closeup

This is a humorous look at what truthful advertising should look like. A supposedly simple product – breaded chicken pieces – is actually ultra-processed in order to create the standardization for sales of hundreds of millions of units a day.

Oh, it needs to be ultra-cheap too. enjoy!?

In case you missed a few, here is the complete list of ingredients:

White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, seasoning (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil, dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary). Battered and breaded with: water, enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, food starch-modified, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, whey, corn starch. Prepared in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness). Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent.

I stopped eating McDonalds like two years ago and never ever want to go there. McDonalds “food” is extremely unnapealing. It amazes me that people can eat this garbage multiple times a week.

I admit it, I used to take the kids there from time to time. The fun and smiles end when they are fighting over the bathroom 20 mins later!

Haven’t had McDonald’s in forever. Just can’t understand how people still eat that stuff. I don’t like Mystery meat or Pink slime.

LOL this is funny. Man, I remember when I was little and I’d order a 20 piece chicken mcnuggets, a small fry an oreo mcflurry, and I’d use about 4 or 5 honey mustard packages. And I would eat it ALL!

I remember when I was a poor college student and I’d eat their nuggets from time to time when I felt depressed and didn’t have more than a couple of dollars to eat with; Then I started my career and never looked at McDonald’s again. They have a target demographic: Uneducated, Lazy, Low-Income, Financially Ignorant. I’m not saying everyone doesn’t go through those phases as they reach maturity and find their way in life, but some just don’t cease the opportunities necessary to elevate themselves above the McDonald’s diet and McDonald’s knows exactly how to influence them to come back for more and more, regardless of the stomach ulcers and cramps.
