Teens in Ohio who took a 30-day challenge to reduce their consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks not only reduced their intake, but also substantially increased their water consumption. Working together to create awareness campaigns and a can-do atmosphere in their high-schools contributed to peer pressure in the right direction. These are the conclusions of a study conducted by Ohio State University researchers.
