If you believe these are hard to handle, you need to cite studies to support your views. To me this sounds like more of the usual “all ingredients are evil” cant.

Yes James, I’m sure when you make homemade lemonade you are sure to add your potassium benzoate along with your fresh squeezed high fructose corn syrup. Doesn’t it bother you at all how many of these ingredients are not found in nature? Are you really so naive as to think that the cola companies or the FDA for that matter really have done their due diligence to prove these things safe? Do you really think they care one bit about your health, or do you think they might be a bit more concerned about profit? Your agenda is also quite clear actually. But I wonder, just whose side are you on? Do you really want to gamble your own health defending these corporations?

What I want to know is how to get the damned fructose out of the lemons in the first place. Any tips? DHMO, malic acid, proline, and ascorbic acid keep contaminating my lemonade as well.

Don’t even get me started on the benzoic acid that keeps getting produced in my goats’ milk.

Very short article, something with a bit more substance would be appreciated like maybe a breakdown of what these chemicals are…..
